About me

Adam Michel

Hi. My name is Adam Michel, and I am an old sailor. As a child, I started in the Cadet class, then Hornet class. Then I got interested in regattas at sea and tried in the One Tone class.
In 1973/74 I was a crewmember of the Polish boat Otago in the first Whitbread Round the World Race (today Volvo Ocean Race).
Living in France and then Ireland, I worked as a skipper for hire. Thanks to this I could get to know different navigation devices, various systems, networks, installations and software used for navigation.
My hobby is Weather Routing and Strategy, both in regatta and tourism. I am a consultant in a dynamically growing company developing new technologies in navigation.

Another my passion is computer graphics - 3D animation.
